It is PFLAG’s policy that youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all PFLAG meetings and functions.
PFLAG Spartanburg is not a professional counseling organization and makes no such claim. Youth in crisis should contact organizations that are trained and equipped to handle crisis situations.
PFLAG’s mission remains the same, i.e., support, education, and advocacy. PFLAG will provide support to all who attend our meetings, including youth who are accompanied by their parent(s) or legal guardian.
The Uplift Outreach Center is a community center providing a safe space to youth who identify as LGBTQ+
Youth under the age of 18 and others, who are unable to attend PFLAG meetings, may want to contact one of these groups for support.
